The team at Dry Ice Scotland were delighted to be selected as a winner of the Scottish Edge Awards last night at RBS Gogarburn, taking home one of the top prizes available.
Out of 292 applications, the final stage of the competition consisted of live pitches from some of Scotland’s most promising start-ups, entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses.
Richard Nimmons, Dry Ice Scotland MD, stated: “The win is absolutely pivotal for us as a company. It will allow to accelerate plans for our most exciting product development yet, enabling us to service markets all over the world.”
Dry Ice Scotland’s pitch focused on the development of their revolutionary, world-first process which can be deployed in any location globally (including offshore), and removes corrosion and defective coatings without creating any mess.
A huge thanks goes out to all the team at Elevator in Aberdeen, Bob Keiller of AB15, Kevin Grainger of Pitch Perfect (all for exceptional support in developing the pitch) and John McQueston of Business Gateway.
