Our mission is simple: sustainable, proven capture of biogenic CO₂ to create a more sustainable future.

Our cutting-edge technology enables the decarbonisation of industries that generate biogenic CO₂ as a by-product – that is, CO₂ emitted from the decomposition, fermentation or combustion of organic matter. We work with farmers, distillers and energy-from-waste firms to capture CO₂ and put it to good use elsewhere – or remove it from the atmosphere permanently.

We currently utilise our captured CO₂ to produce dry ice, catering to the needs of the pharmaceutical and food transport industries. This makes these industries more sustainable, and we proudly stand as the UK's second-largest producer of dry ice as well as the sole Scottish supplier.

The CO₂ that we don’t utilise, we remove from the atmosphere via geological storage. Project Nexus is our campaign to sequester 90% of Scotland’s biogenic CO₂ emissions by 2040, equivalent to the decarbonisation of 800,000 homes. Through collaborating with foremost CO₂ transport and storage specialists such as Storegga and Nippon Gases, we stand as an effective partner in the race to net zero.
