With an annual capacity of 70 million litres, significant quantities of North British grain whisky are included in many well-known blended brands.

Carbon Capture Scotland has joined forces with North British Distillery to implement our proprietary technology. By capturing CO2 emissions from fermentation, we contribute to their sustainability journey. Captured CO₂ serves the UK market – used for applications like dry ice production and food logistics – while our innovative Project Nexus stores the remaining CO₂ deep underground.

This partnership, blending tradition with innovation, empowers North British Distillery to further decarbonise, harnessing their by-products for a greener purpose.
